Anna grew up in Scotland and spent her youth show jumping. She graduated in 1994 from Edinburgh University and joined Liphook Equine Hospital for a two year internship, before spending four years in Australia and New Zealand in large equine referral hospitals. She returned to the UK to complete a three year residency in Equine Medicine at the Royal Vet College in London and collected the RCVS certificate in Equine Medicine. Anna subsequently spent nine years in equine only practice, mostly in Sussex and Surrey.
Anna joined the Langford Equine Practice in October 2014 and made the switch to the equine hospital in 2018 and currently runs the clinical service provided to the charity World Horse Welfare. Anna is an RCVS advanced practitioner in equine medicine and is currently studying for her specialist American diploma examination.
