Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Dermatology and Pathology PhD DipACVD FHEA MRCVS

Aiden studied biology and veterinary science at the universities of Nottingham and Bristol. He trained as a veterinary dermatologist at Bristol and the University of Wisconsin (USA). He worked for the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) in various roles dealing with the investigation of diseases of farmed livestock and wildlife. He developed particular interests in camelids and deer; as well as dealing with cattle, goats, pigs, poultry, sheep and wildlife.

Aiden supports the Farm Animal Pathology Service at Langford which provides a postmortem service for farmed livestock.

He teaches students on the Veterinary Nursing degree programme and the Veterinary Science (BVSc) and AGEP degree programmes.

He has a particular interest in publishing and is deputy editor in chief of the journal Veterinary Dermatology and a board member for In Practice. He is a co-editor of the textbook entitled Veterinary Allergy.
