Josie graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2013 then worked in mixed practice for a year in North Yorkshire. She then undertook a rotating hospital internship at the Philip Leverhulme Equine Hospital, University of Liverpool and then spent 2 years in small animal first opinion practice in North Wales.  In December 2017, she joined Langford Veterinary Services as an ophthalmology assistant. She began a residency in ophthalmology in July 2019 and is working towards a postgraduate certificate in small animal ophthalmology and a European diploma in comparative ophthalmology. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors with her dog, Kiwi, horse riding, triathlons and photography.
