Sonia qualified from Leon, Spain, in 2013, before moving to the UK. She worked for two years in a first opinion practice in Bristol. After this, she completed two rotating internships, one in a private referral hospital in Surrey and the second one at Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital in Cambridge. Then she went back to first opinion practice and she finished her ESAVS post graduate certificate in Small Animal Internal Medicine. Sonia started her Residency in Clinical Pathology at Langford Vets in July 2019.

Outside of work, Sonia enjoys painting, photography, travelling and spending time with her friends, family and cats.
