Introduction
We are ideally suited to give you clear professional advice on all aspects of looking after your puppy and this guide will give you some basic information to get you started. Please remember to contact us if you have any questions and our qualified veterinary staff will do their best to help. We recognise that looking after a puppy and the responsibility for owning a dog for the next many years can be quite daunting at first and are available for advice on any topic of pet ownership.
If you have a question you can contact us in a variety of ways. The traditional appointment system with a Veterinary Surgeon allows us to examine your pet and give specific one to one advice relating to any health issues you are concerned about. We will also recommend seeing your pet at regular intervals to monitor health and carry out a clinical examination from top to tail, remember that the earlier a problem is detected the easier it is to remedy.
You can also speak to our reception and nursing staff in the reception area or organise a private nurse appoint for more general or minor issues. Many of our nurse appointments are included free of charge as part of our care packages and our qualified nursing team can examine your pet as part of a wellness clinic. The telephone can be a useful tool for minor issues or general advice and if necessary we can arrange for a member of staff to call you back for a longer conversation at a suitable time. Please bear in mind that without examining your pet our advice can only be general and not specific to a medical issue.
Some people find email a useful tool to contact us for non-urgent issues; we can pass your query onto the most suitable member of staff for a thorough reply.
We regularly update our website and Facebook pages with advice and topical pet related information as well as our latest offers.
